For King Saud University in Al Hasa, Saudi Arabia, TechnoShade delivered a large-scale installation of 1,287 manual and 101 motorized roller shades, tailored to meet the diverse needs of an expansive academic environment.

The solution was designed to provide effective daylight and glare control across classrooms, lecture halls, offices, and common areas, enhancing visual comfort for students and faculty. The motorized roller shades allow for centralized or automated control in key spaces, improving operational efficiency and adaptability throughout the day, while the manual systems offer reliable and cost-effective functionality in standard areas.

In addition to comfort, the installation contributes to energy efficiency by reducing solar heat gain, supporting indoor climate control in the region’s demanding conditions.
