KACWC

For KACWC – King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, designed by Zaha Hadid, TechnoShade delivered an integrated solution combining automatic smoke curtains with motorized roller shades, tailored to one of the region’s most iconic cultural landmarks.

The automatic smoke curtains are engineered for rapid deployment in emergency situations, effectively containing and controlling smoke to protect visitors, staff, and critical spaces while ensuring safe evacuation routes. Seamlessly concealed within the building’s distinctive architectural form, they preserve the visual integrity of the design while meeting stringent international safety standards.

Complementing this, the motorized roller shades provide precise control over daylight and glare across exhibition areas, auditoriums, and public spaces. Integrated with advanced control systems, they allow automated adjustment based on sunlight conditions, enhancing visitor comfort and contributing to energy efficiency.

Together, these systems deliver a balance of safety, performance, and architectural harmony, reinforcing TechnoShade’s expertise in providing intelligent, high-end solutions for complex, design-driven cultural environments.
